EMOM Method of training. An EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute) training method, builds strength, power, and strength-endurance — the ability to maintain power output for an extended period of time. Because of this endurance-related benefit, it's often used as a conditioning or fat loss method, rather than strictly for strength-building.
In an EMOM format, you are designated a certain # of repetitions to execute in 1 minute. If you finish those reps before the minute is up, you get the rest of the time to recover, if you do NOT finish the exercises in the minute, you get ZERO recovery time and have to go right into thenext exercise once it begins.
Each block is 5 minutes with a 1 minute recovery and transition in between each block.
